dozo!

this post is quite belated cos was waiting for vin to synch his phone so that i can show you all the pictures =)))

in japanese, dozo means please. and yes please, visit this restaurant!!! it has SUPERB service, QUALITY food and WONDERFUL ambience!!!

vin and i brought my parents to this restaurant to celebrate mothers' day. show you some of our favorites =)))

this is japanese noodles and they just keep refilling it throughout our meal! its very tasty and every noodle tastes different! there's the bee bee tasting ones, and chocolate tasting ones, etc...
this drink is to whet our appetite and it sure did! even the looks of it made me excited about the 6 course that's to come!
starter! can't remember whats on it liao and there's even a sequence to eat it, as adviced by our ever attentive and knowledgeable waiter!!!

soft shell crab! the sauce is just ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! eaten with the potato mash, aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh


escargots with butter!!!!! we ate it so cleanly and must have looked like we even wanted to eat up the shells that the waiter gave us another 4!!!!! he said cos we enjoyed it alot (is that super service or what?!) ^_^

they were so sweet to even bring out a cake for my mum, with a candle on it and chocolate wordings 'Happy Mothers Day...'!!! and the waiter even sang happy mothers day!!!!! one line only but wow can see the fantastic attitude he has, to serve his customers to the max!!!!!

united breaks guitars

remember our saga with United? dave carroll's song just sums the united experience up so well =)))

eeeeeuuuuccccckkkkkkk!!!!!

staying in your own home is like having your own children. you need to clean it up, including all the yucky disgusting things that come with it.

a few days ago, when we came home, we saw a wasps nest on our main door. its made of mud and looks like 3 balls stuck together. totally gross looking i must say. the thought of this whole saga still makes me want to puke. bleah!

anyway, vin and i finally decided to get rid of it today after much procrastination cos one of the balls had a hole in it (meaning a wasps grew up and flew out). double yucks!!!

we armed ourselves with a flat metal spade and a wet cloth, not knowing what to expect. vin scraped off the nest with 1 swift motion and the mud with alot of green slimy things dropped on the floor. we were both totally grossed out.

on close inspection, those green slimy things seemed to be the larvae that was still in the worms stage. i quickly got pails of water and washed them all down the drain of the corridor and vin cleaned up the door, which had some green slimy things on it too.

vin summed it up with 'interesting experience'. me? YUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
